COMPREHENSIVE INSPECTION AND REPORTING PROCESS

Although our Used Vehicle Inspections can be tailored completely to your requirements, they typically involve three main stages.

Stage 1: The Inspection

Specially trained inspectors register all technical information about the car including the make, model, series, fuel type, trim and accessories. They ascertain the presence of keys and documentation, the condition of the tires, etc. They then note and photograph any damage.

Stage 2: The Calculation

The data collected during the inspection is sent electronically to an application called VIMS (Vehicle Inspection Management System). Taking into consideration all the results of the inspection, VIMS provides a detailed cost analysis of every fault on the car.

Stage 3: The Reports

Two reports are typically issued:
The Condition report which is an independent report containing the entire car’s data as collected and registered during the inspection.
The Appraisal report is a derivative of the Condition Report. All damages required to be listed by the client are displayed. This report is usually supplied to the car buyer.
